My original idea was to have a more neutral colour scheme, however after seeing the layout of the first image ,in the mood board, i like how they have used the one bold colour as it stands out against the white and black. The colours i have on my mood board are gender neutral as its for both man and women and i don't want it o be targeted to one gender.
I have also decided that the original photo i have taken is going to be my front cover. This image had a red light shining above so that has made the bottom part of my image red. As i am using that cover image i am going to use a red as my main colour and then use black and white to help it stand out, it will hopefully make it look simple but effective and people would be attracted to it. Too much red won' be appropriate for the audience and not all of the image i have got will go with red so i am also going to use grey for some pages but it will also have red sections to it, but smaller.
There are three types of text, from google fonts, that i took a screenshot of for inspiration of the styles i like. I have chosen bold font styles which i like and would like to use similar ones in my magazine for titles.
